I've had these guys show up to my house twice now, and not only have they done an astounding job, one of them has left a lasting impression on my dog, Oliver! He barks and jumps in excitement whenever they show up and it's just great to see. Honestly, if I could pay them to come to my house and watch my dog for a few hours, I would. We have been using window AC units and baseboards for heat and our comfort level was subpar. It was time for an upgrade. Dan came out, took a look at the scope of work, and came up with a great solution for our home. The knowledge, expertise, and professionalism of the team at elite comfort was put on display for this project. From chosing the right mini split units for each room, to the execution of the installation of these units. Elite was absolutely AMAZING from the day of the estimate to the final day of installation! They installed a Cooper & Hunter ductless mini split system in our house! Out of nowhere our mini split unit died. We contacted Steve from Elite Comfort. He had done service for us in the past, so he was our first call. He came out and diagnosed that the compressor had died. Since the old unit was just at or beyond its warranty, he did everything he could to see if he could get the part covered under the warranty. I need to mention that Elite was not the company to install the first unit. So he really went above and beyond in try to get the repair covered. Steve went on to get us estimates to repair the old unit vs purchase a new unit. In the end, it was a no brainer to replace the unit with a new one (for almost the same price as the repair). The new unit came standard with a 12 year warranty on the compressor which is unheard of. We told Steve that we wanted to go ahead with the new unit on a Friday. He texted me on Monday (President's Day) and asked if he could install the next morning. He and his partner were here for half a day removing the old unit and hauling it away and installing the new one. I fully anticipated that there would be some dust and dirt just because of what was going on. When they were done, there was not a speck of dust or dirt anywhere. Everything was exactly as they found it. They are also very courteous and respectful individuals you could work with. HVAC is not my area of expertise. Steve explained things to me in a way in which I could easily understand and answered all of my questions so that I was comfortable making the purchasing decision. I have absolutely no reservation in recommending Steve and Elite Comfort Heating and Cooling LLC to any family or friends. We certainly will be using them in the future for our regular maintenance needs as well as future HVAC replacement. Thank you Steve and your team! P.S. They also provided us all of the paperwork necessary to claim a $200 rebate from MetEd and a 20% federal tax credit. They also took care of registering the warranty for us so that we are getting the most out of our warranty coverage. Thank you Steve and Elite!
